Several members of the parish and friends of All Saints’ visited the 108 acre redwood refuge and Tibetan Buddhist sanctuary that offers traditional and contemporary programs based in Buddhist practice for awakening and nurturing a culture of compassion, wisdom, and well-being. We walked the Eight Verses Trail (similar to Stations of the Cross) and visited the sacred sites. which included a temple, the 100,000 Stupa Project, a Buddhist shrine that “…is an icon of peace rising from an open meadow,” the prayer wheels and Gompa (the Main Meditation Hall).
Rev. Amber and Lilian Brito led our pilgrimage.
LMP was founded and guided by Lama Thubten Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rimpoche and inspired by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. They are dedicated to benefitting all beings to live a happy and meaningful life.
