While the church and grounds of All Saints’ are truly “a sacred space for spiritual transformation in Christ,” members of the church family are blessed to experience another sacred space together–Santa Lucia Chapel and Campground in Big Sur. Each year parishioners and staff take the opportunity to share this space together for two to three nights, camping under the redwoods while listening to the babbling Big Sur River and waking up to the chirping of birds. It is truly divine!
Those parishioners not inclined to camp overnight drive down on Sunday morning to experience our “in the wild” service in our beautiful outdoor chapel, which also is also adjacent to the Big Sur River, and to break bread together there and at the picnic afterwards.
