Serving as an Usher is a wonderful way to get to know All Saints members and visitors to our church. Ushers assist worshippers as they arrive at the church, helping them find what they need to feel at home and participate in the liturgy. They represent the congregation in bringing the gifts of money, food donations and the bread and wine of the sacrament to the altar for Holy Communion. They assist all who are willing and able to come forward to receive the sacrament, and help the ministers bring it to those who are unable to approach the altar. After the service they put the church in order for the next gathering.
Ushers serve in teams of two or three, with an experienced captain to guide them, and people of all ages are welcome.
