All Saints is a friendly and caring community, where members express their love and compassion by calling and visiting one another, especially when sorrow or illness strikes. Certain members have also been trained and licensed by the bishop to carry Holy Communion to those who are not able to attend services. Some have special callings to visit prisoners or to take pets to visit those in hospitals or nursing homes; others volunteer at the local hospital or other caring agencies. Staff and office volunteers meet those in need who come to our door. Much encouragement and prayer takes place in the front office of All Saints. We also offer prayers for healing at the 10:30 liturgy. A Prayer List is found in the church on Sunday and in the office on weekdays; it is updated weekly. During our Morning Prayer services Monday through Saturday, we pray for those on our Prayer List, while others pray daily at home for those same individuals. The clergy offer spiritual direction in their offices. The Rev. Daniel Green is the Almoner of the parish and keeps office hours for those who seek guidance or financial support. Our clergy also visit members of the parish who cannot attend services, and are available to anoint and to offer Holy Communion. They offer prayers for those who are rejoicing and for those who are ill, grieving, or facing death. They are on call day and night to meet the pastoral needs of parishioners.
