Mission statement of the Formation and Education Commission at All Saints
The primary means of education and formation at All Saints is our Sunday worship. The various worship experiences that take place here each Sunday offer people of different ages, spiritualities and temperaments the opportunity to encounter the Word of God in scripture, preaching, prayer and sacrament. This core formation is supplemented in a variety of ways. All Saints Book Group and the Friends of Saint Benedict group are ongoing lay-led activities that aim to deepen adult members’
Spiritual friendships and experience of Christian faith. Recent adult education offerings by the clergy include a weekly conversation about the Gospel According to Mark and another about the Millennium Development Goals , and a class for adults preparing for confirmation in the Episcopal Church. Programs for younger people include Godly Play and high school Youth Group
