Jesus Christ came to dwell among us and to share our human life and condition in all its aspects. It is our joy to extend his ministry of healing, teaching, reconciling and liberating to God’s people in our generations. This occurs in our Sunday worship, where people of all ages are expected and welcomed to participate, and where the voices of children are heard intermingled with those of adults and elders. It happens as the Church gathers with families to mark with awe and joy the threshold moments of life and faith through the rites of baptism, confirmation and marriage, and at the time of death. It happens in our educational programs, such as Godly Play and Youth Group, where children and youth learn the stories, symbols and practices that connect them with God. It happens when we gather for recreational and fellowship events such as the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and the family campout at Santa Lucia campground.
In all aspects of our life together we seek to understand and respect what makes each family unique and precious, as well as to find our common ground as brothers and sisters in Christ. You are welcome!
