Santa Lucia Campground

The Santa Lucia Campground is located approximately 26 miles south of Carmel on Highway 1. The entrance to the campground is approximately one quarter mile south of the River Inn on the west side of the highway. It is available for use by All Saints Parishioners and groups from other churches and non-profit agencies on a reservation basis only. Those planning to use this facility must obtain a reservation from Izzi Shillinglaw (831-373-7570), who will notify the campground caretaker of your planned arrival dates.

The campground has many suitable camp sites for pitching tents, an open fire pit for grilling, a fire ring surrounded by benches, a bathroom facility (cold water only), and a rocky beach along the Big Sur River. The drinking water is fresh from a well on the property, but there are no showers.

The campground also has a small outdoor chapel which is used for worship services and other events, including weddings, which require approval from the Rector of All Saints Episcopal Church in Carmel.
